Why Linux?

I love the control, the philosophy, and the command line. Linux makes the operating system visible rather than hiding it behind abstractions. When something breaks, you can understand why — and that understanding compounds. Every layer of the system becomes legible over time. For someone who works in cloud infrastructure, that legibility is not optional.
